Day 4 of our Christmas Turkey on the Grill series. Today we are looking at a Texas dry rub recipe for a smaller meal. If you are not going to be grilling for a large group of family and friends this Christmas then there is not much reason to grill a whole turkey. The grill masters at MyRecipes.com have a great recipe for a small gathering or several meals. The recipe says that it makes 8 servings, but my guess is that your going to like it so much that you don’t get more than 4 out of it.
- 1 cup hickory wood chips
- 1 tablespoon Hungarian sweet paprika or paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 (2-pound) skinned, boned turkey breast half
- Cooking spray
Start your grill and head over to see what the grill masters at MyRecipes.com are doing with this recipe.
