Christmas Goose on the Grill

This week is our other meats on the grill series. For the kickoff, we have a recipe for goose on the grill. This is a very simple recipe and should work well for hunters as well as those who prefer to pick up their goose at a local market.

 

Roast Goose

A roasted goose.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole goose – 3.5-5.5(8-12 lb) is an ideal, small-medium size
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 50 g butter
  • 6 large fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 6 large sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 large orange, quartered
  • 2 tablesp olive oil
  • salt & pepper for seasoning

North Carolina Grilled Turkey

Day 3 of our Christmas Turkey on the Grill series. Today we are visiting the South with this recipe for a North Carolina style grilled turkey. As a special treat, we have two recipes for North Carolina Barbecue Turkey that we are going to feature today.
